Description of problem: Adding Japanese stencil description localization (stencilsets/bpmn2.0jbpm/stencildata/bpmn2.0jbpm.orig) to designer.war Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): BRMS 5.3.0 ER7 Steps to Reproduce: 1. Set value of "designer.locale" in designer.war/WEB-INF/web.xml to ja_jp 2. Start standalone server 5.3.0 ER7 3. Open guvnor through browser (Firefox) 4. Create new (or Open) BPMN2 process Actual results: In east and west toolbar, the tooltips of stencil/property (= description of the stencil/property) are English. Expected results: In east and west toolbar, the tooltips of stencil/property (= description of the stencil/property) are Japanese. It's okay to leave the labels of stencil/property English because it's better to users.
We are working on this. I will be able to attach the file / make a pull request in a few days.
Sorry, it's taking time than I thought. I believe I will be able to update early in the next week.
Sent a pull request and attached the same file. https://github.com/tsurdilo/process-designer/pull/8
Created attachment 587236 [details] bpmn2.0jbpm.orig with description_ja lines
Sent a pull request for 2.2.x branch because cherry-pick causes a conflict. https://github.com/tsurdilo/process-designer/pull/9
Created attachment 587646 [details] bpmn2.0jbpm.orig for 2.2.x branch
This is done. Thank you Toshiya and co. you guys are amazing! I did want to just confirm that there was no need to translate the stencil set node titles and property names, right? They are left in English. There is one change that may need to be documented if you guys are documenting how to switch the language to Japanese. In designers web.xml set: <init-param> <param-name>designer.locale</param-name> <param-value>ja</param-value> </init-param> (it used to be ja_jp before this fix. The english (default) locale value is "en" (used to be en_us").
Thank you, Tiho! > I did want to just confirm that there was no need to translate the stencil set node titles and property names, right? They are left in English. Yes, we judged that it's better to have node titles and property names in English. Sometimes English is better for understanding :)

> QE folks, Keiko and I have verified the fix in ER9. It's okay to set me (tkobayas) as a QA contact but then let me know the next step.
Ok, VERIFIED.
