Description of problem: A kernel, and therefore no grub setup Mesa and such needed for gnome3 (dri drivers, libOSMesa, etc.) NetworkManager (the root package, not sub packages) Doesn't default to graphical setup nor ask which one wants for a default.
Please attach /tmp/anaconda.log, /tmp/syslog, and /root/install.log to this bug report so we can see what's going on. There's not nearly enough information here to possibly debug with.
I had to do an upgrade after the install just to get a kernal and grub setup. I cannot provide the anaconda.log. I tried ot do a a standard graphical desktop install. The package which provides /usr/bin/X wasn't installed. I am attaching what files I can.

upgrade syslog is empty.
Without the full set of logs from the install attempt that failed we can't really diagnose what happened here. Sounds like there could have been some I/O issues that led to the kernel install package failing to completely install.
