Red Hat Bugzilla – Bug 828912
Please update python-boto to latest upstream release
Last modified: 2012-07-03 15:36:41 EDT
Upstream python-boto is currently at 2.4.1. EPEL 6 has version 2.0.
Garrett, do you have time to take care about this?
Yes, I should. Mitch from upstream indicated that a new release is coming this week, so I will see if I can update to that version if it doesn't take him too long.
The update system is down at the moment, but if you want to get a head start on testing you can grab the package from the build system and give it karma after everything comes back up.
python-boto-2.5.0-1.el6 has been submitted as an update for Fedora EPEL 6.
What wonderful timing you have, bodhi. :-)
* should fix your issue,
* was pushed to the Fedora EPEL 6 testing repository,
* should be available at your local mirror within two days.
Update it with:
# su -c 'yum update --enablerepo=epel-testing python-boto-2.5.1-1.el6'
as soon as you are able to.
Please go to the following url:
then log in and leave karma (feedback).
python-boto-2.5.1-1.el6 has been pushed to the Fedora EPEL 6 stable repository. If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report.
