The author photo is not shown for me (when logged in or out) see screenshot 

Source only shows <div class="blog-author-image"></div>

Possibly the system is set to only display these to admins. 

Once I can view these I will adjust.

committed a fix, that I believe will position it correctly... I'll need someone who can actually see them to test.

I verified I saw this working in devenv.  QA, please open a separate defect if you don't see at a minimum an empty picture element (black border, about 60px wide) to the far right of each blog post.

I tested this issue on devenv_2029, and saw the empty picture in blog post as you said, so I will verify this bug, however, I can only see the picture using admin account, other users can not see the picture, is this expected ? If not, then I will open another bug to track it.
