I just enabled updates-testing and found iwl2030-firmware package there.

It installed fine and now Wireless Network appears in Networks.

I found a iwlwifi-2030 fireware file in updates-testing. Installed it and it works.

iwl2030-firmware-18.168.6.1-9.fc17.noarch is now in f17 updates.

Do you agree this issue has been solved now?

Comment 5 Gerry Reno 2012-09-21 14:30:03 UTC
Mads, yes, it's solved by the iwl-2030-firmware package.
