Note: This bug is displayed in read-only format because the product is no longer active in Red Hat Bugzilla.
Red Hat Satellite engineering is moving the tracking of its product development work on Satellite to Red Hat Jira (issues.redhat.com). If you're a Red Hat customer, please continue to file support cases via the Red Hat customer portal. If you're not, please head to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira and file new tickets here. Individual Bugzilla bugs will be migrated starting at the end of May. If you cannot log in to RH Jira, please consult article #7032570. That failing, please send an e-mail to the RH Jira admins at rh-issues@redhat.com to troubleshoot your issue as a user management inquiry. The email creates a ServiceNow ticket with Red Hat. Individual Bugzilla bugs that are migrated will be moved to status "CLOSED", resolution "MIGRATED", and set with "MigratedToJIRA" in "Keywords". The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/SAT-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

Description Corey Welton 2012-06-20 15:04:38 UTC
Description of problem:

This is a hard bug to reproduce. All I know is that I saw it happen on both a fresh 1.0.1 and a 1.0-> 1.0.1 upgrade. Restarting katello and associated services seemed to cure it, so I am not sure if it is just a "time" thing...?

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:

(some of these steps may or may not be necessary, trying to reduce variables)

1. Create a new org.
2. In this org, create a Provider, "Google"
3. In provider "Google", create a new product, "Google_Product_0"
4. In product "Google_Product_0", create three new repos:
Google_repo_0 http://dl.google.com/linux/chrome/rpm/stable/x86_64
Google_repo_1 http://dl.google.com/linux/musicmanager/rpm/stable/x86_64
Google_repo_2 http://dl.google.com/linux/talkplugin/rpm/stable/x86_64
5. Create a new sync plan, "Google", which is hourly.
6. In sync schedule, Associate this sync plan with your repo
7. Manually sync all repos
8. Navigate to Content Management > System templates. Create a new template, "foobar"
9. Within Eligible Content, drill down into Packages for the google content.

Actual results:
Spinner spins, no results

Expected results:
Package listing.

Additional info:
Again, after reboot it worked fine for me. But I saw this occurring on two servers...

Comment 1 Pavel Pokorny 2012-07-18 08:56:57 UTC
Works for me in latest katello (049d74c361).

Comment 2 Mike McCune 2012-08-03 17:09:39 UTC
will re-test with 1.1

Comment 4 Corey Welton 2012-09-17 16:44:51 UTC
QE Closing. I can no longer reproduce it either. Can reopen if it ever shows up again...

Comment 5 Mike McCune 2013-08-16 18:03:18 UTC
getting rid of 6.0.0 version since that doesn't exist
