Red Hat Satellite engineering is moving the tracking of its product development work on Satellite to Red Hat Jira (issues.redhat.com). If you're a Red Hat customer, please continue to file support cases via the Red Hat customer portal. If you're not, please head to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira and file new tickets here. Individual Bugzilla bugs will be migrated starting at the end of May. If you cannot log in to RH Jira, please consult article #7032570. That failing, please send an e-mail to the RH Jira admins at rh-issues@redhat.com to troubleshoot your issue as a user management inquiry. The email creates a ServiceNow ticket with Red Hat. Individual Bugzilla bugs that are migrated will be moved to status "CLOSED", resolution "MIGRATED", and set with "MigratedToJIRA" in "Keywords". The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/SAT-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

Should be easy to fix, just move the file writing code the pinsetter job uses to somewhere both the pinsetter job and the resource can get it.

Comment 2 James Bowes 2012-06-25 17:42:21 UTC
will need a 0.6 branch and build off of that.

Comment 3 Lukas Zapletal 2012-06-26 08:20:38 UTC
So are we going to change the /candlepin/crl url or you are going to implement this feature on this exact url?

Comment 4 Garik Khachikyan 2012-06-26 08:28:03 UTC
giving QE-ack here. serious issue to get fixed.

Comment 5 Chris Duryee 2012-06-27 20:23:38 UTC
Lukáš,

The URL will remain the same, I am going to just have it write to disk when called.

Comment 6 Chris Duryee 2012-06-28 16:50:47 UTC
this is fixed in 0.7

614354f15c138 master 0.7.4+

I still need to apply the patch to 0.6 branch

Now "admin crl_regen" regenerates "/var/lib/candlepin/candlepin-crl.crl" file and described problems are fixed.

Comment 10 Mike McCune 2012-10-24 14:22:03 UTC
closing, currentrelease since these seemingly got missed in the 1.0.1 errata

Comment 11 Hayk Hovsepyan 2012-12-04 15:17:29 UTC
Automated in method: "com.redhat.qe.katello.tests.e2e.CRLRegen.test_crl_regen()"

Comment 13 Mike McCune 2013-08-16 18:19:45 UTC
getting rid of 6.0.0 version since that doesn't exist
