Description of problem: Digikam is not displaying all image thumbnails in the import from camera window. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 2.6.0 How reproducible: Every time. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Plug in usb link to camera 2. Select Import->Cameras-><camera> 3. Actual results: In the import window containing the image thumbnails from the camera only about 40% of the images display a correct image thumbnail. The remainder just display a generic image icon. Expected results: All image thumbnails to be shown. Additional info: There was no problem with Digikam 2.5.x. I have tried this with various (all Canon) cameras and the results are always the same.
Hello, I added an external tracker for this bug from upstream. Please, have a look at it, if it matches your description. There are several differences (such as image icons) from your report. Thank you.
digikam-2.7.0 available in updates testing. Is this bug actual for it? It can be installed with 'yum --enablerepo updates-testing update digikam\* kipi-plugins\* libkface libkgeomap libkvkontakte libmediawiki libpgf'

Looks like this is a known issue with libgphoto2-2.4.14. Thumbnail download also fails for some images when using the gphoto2 shell independent of digikam.
OK, let's triage this to the libgphoto2 component.
This package has changed ownership in the Fedora Package Database. Reassigning to the new owner of this component.
Hi, Can you please retry with the latest libgphoto2: https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=415729 (This will be available in F-18 updates-testing soon) Thanks, Hans
It's working OK with this version. Thanks, Roger
