Description of problem: running hazard on the e.25 kernel, it hangs in the "Scan" phase. If you watch /var/log/messages, you'll see that the last command run was 'scanvm', which Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): e.25 How reproducible: 100% Steps to Reproduce: 1. boot into the e.25 kernel 2. start hazard with 'hazard -S <SUT>' where <SUT> is the System Under Test 3. watch /var/log/message while doing this Actual results: System hangs for (potentially) long amounts of time; possibly forever; I'll add info to this come Monday. Expected results: Completes in a reasonable amount of time. Additional info: Going home now.
Sorry for the truncated comment; I forgot to go back and edit it. 'scanvm' checks for LVM and VxVM volumes.
I just saw drive lights blinking as I got up to leave. If there is a problem, this ain't it. Sorry for the alarm. I'll report back Monday if nothing ran over the weekend. -=Eric
