Description Frantisek Hanzlik 2012-07-08 22:05:31 UTC
Description of problem:
When I have defined additional keyboard layouts, these are lost after is second keyboard (USB) connected. Worse, they are lost even if I connect USB webcam
("Bus 006 Device 003: ID 05a9:8519 OmniVision Technologies, Inc. OV519 Webcam" in my case), and maybe other USB devices.
This behavior is very annoying and should not be happen.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
xfce4-xkb-plugin-0.5.4.1-3.fc17.i686

Additional info:
- my "/etc/sysconfig/i18n" specify LANG="cs_CZ.UTF-8",
thus xkb plugin has initialy only this Czech "cz" layout. When I add some other keyboards (English us, usualy), then these added layouts disappears after (some) USB device is plugged into PC.

- Same problems I had on F16 i686 with same xfce4-xkb-plugin version.

For anyone googling this: for me running on F18, the update did not help.
