I was using remmina for RDP to remote Win7x64 SP1 system. I'd meant to minimize the remmina remote window, but instead somehow made it half-size (I probably hit Restore). When I wanted to maximize it again, I found it half-size and went to Mazimize it. That's when it crashed. I don't recall whether I double-clicked its title bar to max it, or whether I used the Max button on the its title bar (I move fast and w/o thinking when I'm not testing *this* product). I use remmina very often and sucessfully to this and other remote systems, and in this manner (maximized, minmizied, and back again), so if this is reproducible, it's likely around the steps above, or something coincidental that I'm not aware of. backtrace_rating: 4 Package: remmina-1.0.0-4.fc17 OS Release: Fedora release 17 (Beefy Miracle)
(In reply to comment #5) The min/max steps in my comment now seem unrelated; remmina just crashed again, while I was only working with the remote system, with remmmina window maximized. So my next hunch about a cause would be (maybe) my update of gtk3 yesterday: Updated gtk3-3.4.3-2.fc17.x86_64 @anaconda-0 Update 3.4.4-1.fc17.x86_64 @updates I may let ABRT process the new crash in hopes that it can determine whether this second crash would add any useful info; I dont' want to populate this BZ with extra info that doesn't add value.
I was remoted into a rdp session and when I tried to click on a icon in the desktop it crashed out backtrace_rating: 4 Package: remmina-1.0.0-4.fc17 OS Release: Fedora release 17 (Beefy Miracle)
This message is a reminder that Fedora 17 is nearing its end of life. Approximately 4 (four) weeks from now Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 17. It is Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. At that time this bug will be closed as WONTFIX if it remains open with a Fedora 'version' of '17'. Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, simply change the 'version' to a later Fedora version prior to Fedora 17's end of life. Bug Reporter: Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry that we may not be able to fix it before Fedora 17 is end of life. If you would still like to see this bug fixed and are able to reproduce it against a later version of Fedora, you are encouraged change the 'version' to a later Fedora version prior to Fedora 17's end of life. Although we aim to fix as many bugs as possible during every release's lifetime, sometimes those efforts are overtaken by events. Often a more recent Fedora release includes newer upstream software that fixes bugs or makes them obsolete.
Fedora 17 changed to end-of-life (EOL) status on 2013-07-30. Fedora 17 is no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any further security or bug fix updates. As a result we are closing this bug. If you can reproduce this bug against a currently maintained version of Fedora please feel free to reopen this bug against that version. Thank you for reporting this bug and we are sorry it could not be fixed.
