sanlock: should support graceful release of resources

This bug has been copied from bug #826022 and has been proposed to be backported to 6.3 z-stream (EUS).
fixed. sanlock-2.3-3.el6_3. Here is the /var/log/messages output: Aug 28 11:49:25 purple-vds2 sanlock-stop-spm: kill -s USR1 -- 3671 Aug 28 12:06:55 purple-vds2 sanlock-stop-spm: kill -s USR1 -- 17449 as we can see the sanlock-stop-spm script was successfully executed.
