Thanks for a bug report. It's an outstanding issue with GtkHTML (gtkhtml3 package), which is used to show HTML messages in evolution. It doesn't know the CSS style definitions, while your messages are full of CSS, as "Microsoft Word 12 (filtered medium)" generated them. Development version 3.5.4 of Evolution in Rawhide uses WebKit, which shows both messages as expected.

For future reference, feel free to not attach Outlook .msg files, they are in proprietary format. MBox-es are much better.
