Red Hat Satellite engineering is moving the tracking of its product development work on Satellite to Red Hat Jira (issues.redhat.com). If you're a Red Hat customer, please continue to file support cases via the Red Hat customer portal. If you're not, please head to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira and file new tickets here. Individual Bugzilla bugs will be migrated starting at the end of May. If you cannot log in to RH Jira, please consult article #7032570. That failing, please send an e-mail to the RH Jira admins at rh-issues@redhat.com to troubleshoot your issue as a user management inquiry. The email creates a ServiceNow ticket with Red Hat. Individual Bugzilla bugs that are migrated will be moved to status "CLOSED", resolution "MIGRATED", and set with "MigratedToJIRA" in "Keywords". The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/SAT-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

Description Corey Welton 2012-07-24 16:46:48 UTC
Description of problem:
When you have two repos named the same thing, the UI makes it difficult to differentiate the two in the sidebar. A simple tooltip might suffice.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create ProviderA, ProductA, repo "i386" and sync
2. Create ProviderB, ProductB, repo "i386" and sync
3. Navigate to Content Search, select content type of "Repo" in left pane
4, Choose the second option in the resulting "Repos" div for repo autocomplete; one at a time, select both repos called "i386" (noting the autocomplete does show Product name); Add
5. View resulting list of selected repos

Actual results:
i386
i386
...no differentiation between the two

Expected results:
Obviously we're space limited here, but we do show the Product name in the autocomplete and in the compare itself. I'm inclined to think we could just simply put the product name in the tooltip if the user wants to assure which is which.

Whatever the case, I can see things getting a little confusing if user is adding a bunch of different repos with the same name - might be hard to remember what he or she has/hasn't added, at a quick glance.
