Content Search - Products: Not required unless searching for Products itself, it's misleading when searching for Repos, Packages and Errata
Last modified: 2014-09-18 11:32:38 EDT
Created attachment 600299 [details] Search table lists Unrelated Prodcuts and Repos Description of problem: Content Search - Repo: Search results table lists, Unrelated products and Repos Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): katello-0.2.47-1.git.225.b3aa579.el6_3.noarch How reproducible: a) selected "katello" as the Product b) selected "F15 x86_64" (Product: Pulp) as the Repo Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Actual results: The Search was successful and the Search results table listed irrelevant information. Expected results: This search , should'nt list anything. Additional info:
Just realized the "Search widget" for Products is not required in any case, i.e Repos, Packages, Errata. Listing it for all other searches[ Repos, Packages, Errata] and it's purpose was a bit misleading in the beginning. I feel it must go altogether, except in case of searching for Products itself.
Fixed in bd8d29c
