How to reproduce
-----
1.Installed some updates through software updates
2.Some compiz features were removed automatically after it
3.Before i could change those features back to normal in a minute the crash occured

F14 is EOL but Compiz should be working fine. 

Try reinstalling Compiz and ccsm.

I have just taken ownership of this orphaned package and haven't had time to work on it, but it will be worked on once MATE-DE is finished.
