Description of problem: pam_access.so modules requires a valid PAM_RHOST variable or a tty. None of them are provided by imapd and it fails with something like | Feb 17 15:44:46 kosh pam_access[9802]: couldn't get the tty name when pam_access.so will be used. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): imap-2001a-18 How reproducible: 100% Steps to Reproduce: 1. echo 'account required /lib/security/$ISA/pam_access.so' \ >> /etc/pam.d/system-auth 2. try to access IMAP mailbox Actual results: login fails because ttyname can not be determined Expected results: login succeeds Additional information: The recent imap-2002b and the developing snapshot are containing the necessary bits already (search for 'pam_start' in src/osdep/unix)
