Description Brian Lane 2012-08-28 00:46:47 UTC
anaconda needs anaconda-widgets to be installed for liveinst to work.

Comment 1 Adam Williamson 2012-08-28 01:16:42 UTC
any reason not to enforce this through package deps?

Comment 2 Brian Lane 2012-08-28 19:56:54 UTC
yep, no reason not to make it a Requires

Comment 3 Adam Williamson 2012-08-29 16:32:22 UTC
Discussed at 2012-08-29 blocker review meeting. Accepted as blocker per criterion "The installer must boot (if appropriate) and run on all primary architectures, with all system firmware types that are common on those architectures, from default live image, DVD, and boot.iso install media when written to an optical disc and when written to a USB stick with at least one of the officially supported methods".

Comment 4 Kamil Páral 2012-09-03 08:41:37 UTC
Brian, is this fixed with F18 Alpha TC5? I don't know how to check it.

Thanks.

Comment 5 Brian Lane 2012-09-04 16:15:16 UTC
This only applies to livecd creation since the lorax template already has anaconda-widgets included explicitly.

Comment 6 Adam Williamson 2012-09-04 21:42:09 UTC
anaconda 18.6.4 explicitly requires anaconda-widgets, so this ought to be fixed in tc5. I believe if you can actually perform a live install of tc5, which it seems we can more or less, that means this is fixed. so setting VERIFIED.

Comment 7 Adam Williamson 2012-09-06 16:32:09 UTC
18.6.5-1 was pushed stable, so closing.
