Description of problem: After pm-hibernate, re-booting shows the normal grub menu, with no indication that the last booted linux option has been hibernated. There should be some indication e.g. "RESUME" added to the boot option. This is specially important with a multi-boot system sharing a swap partition. I mentioned in bug #806315 that I had a partial personal solution to this -- by creating two versions of grub.cfg, one for normal boot and one for abnormal boot (=resume/thaw) after pm-hibernate, as described in comment 37 in bug #806315, Later, Jaroslav Škarvada, in comment 48 wrote: "Interesting idea and I think it is feasible (clean way) with the current pm-utils grub hook and grub2 environment. Please file RFE bug about it on component pm-utils, version rawhide." So I am now doing as requested, though bugzilla does not present a RFE option that I can find. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): All(?) This is why my ad-hoc solution shows on the grub menu after pm-hibernate: Fedora (3.5.2-3.fc17.i686)RESUME
Minor correction: in Comment #1 I wrote: "This is why my ad-hoc solution shows...". That should have been "This is what my ad-hoc solution shows ..."
