Comment 1 Gwyn Ciesla 2012-09-06 11:41:54 EDT
It does.  From spec:

Obsoletes: ettercap-plugins < 0.7.3-15
Provides: ettercap-plugins = %{version}-%{release}
Obsoletes: ettercap-common <
Provides: ettercap-common = %{version}-%{release}
Obsoletes: ettercap-gtk <
Provides: ettercap-gtk = %{version}-%{release}
Comment 2 Bruno Wolff III 2012-09-06 11:59:15 EDT
Ah, it looks like the version tested against is wrong. made it to at least updates-testing in f18. So the test should probably be against or even 0.7.5.
Comment 3 Gwyn Ciesla 2012-09-06 12:08:44 EDT
Ah, I see, I should have used <=, not <, I'll just do < 0.7.5.  Thanks!
Comment 4 Bruno Wolff III 2012-09-06 12:14:18 EDT
Note for future reference, you need to be careful with <=. You need to include the fedora version since .fcXX is part of the release name. It's usually safer/easier to use < .
Comment 5 Gwyn Ciesla 2012-09-06 12:17:29 EDT
Right, I wasn't necessarily thinking < was better, just that I saw < and had <= in my head, and expressed that poorly.
