I tried the updated driver in updates-testing for FC17 and had repaint and compositing issues with Vostro 1510 laptop,
gnome-terminal would flash white during repaints
firefox would sometimes display garbled text where repaints occurred during scrolling
Issues do not appear with 2.20.6 in the release channels.
