Description jcpunk 2012-09-10 11:20:41 EDT
Description of problem: When I lock my screen to leave my desk for a while, sometimes I don't set myself as 'away' in pidgin. People from my department then message me thinking I'm right there and get frustrated because I don't respond.

If there was some kind of hook for automatically marking me as 'away' whenever my screen is locked/in screensaver mode that would avoid such a situation.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):pidgin-2.7.9-5.el6.2

How reproducible: always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. lock scrren
2. not be away
3. sad co-workers
Actual results:
