blueman package needs to depend on pulseaudio-libs-glib2. Or the runtime dependency gets dropped if no pulseaudio support is installed. Ran into this regression after I installed F18 LXDE Desktop without any addons from DVD (Beta). My system is latest updates-testing by Dec 26th 2012. Installing pulseaudio-libs-glib2 fixes the regression.
blueman-1.23-5.fc18 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 18. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/blueman-1.23-5.fc18
blueman-1.23-5.fc17 has been submitted as an update for Fedora 17. https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/blueman-1.23-5.fc17
I hereby propose this update for NTH because - it affects (at least) the Xfce spin and LXDE users - we have a fix - the fix is trivial, packaging only. - this package is python, we don't need to worry about introducing new odds with the new build.
Package blueman-1.23-5.fc17: * should fix your issue, * was pushed to the Fedora 17 testing repository, * should be available at your local mirror within two days. Update it with: # su -c 'yum update --enablerepo=updates-testing blueman-1.23-5.fc17' as soon as you are able to. Please go to the following url: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2012-21041/blueman-1.23-5.fc17 then log in and leave karma (feedback).
Discussed at 2013-01-02 NTH review meeting: http://meetbot.fedoraproject.org/fedora-bugzappers/2013-01-02/f18final-blocker-review-8.2013-01-02-17.03.log.txt . Accepted as NTH: this would be a blocker issue for blocking desktops, so NTH for non-blocking desktops (see comment #11).
blueman-1.23-5.fc17 has been pushed to the Fedora 17 stable repository. If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report.
(In reply to comment #13) > Accepted as NTH: this would be a > blocker issue for blocking desktops, so NTH for non-blocking desktops Thanks. I submitted the update for stable. Anything else I need to do to make sure it actually gets included in the release?
