Red Hat Bugzilla – Bug 856294
Instructions to uninstall are unclear
Last modified: 2013-02-21 04:19:52 EST
This bug is created as a clone of upstream ticket: https://fedorahosted.org/freeipa/ticket/3065 The ipa-server-install tool doesn't specify the way to uninstall in the "already installed" message. This is needed, because it isn't obvious. I.e. there is no "ipa-server-uninstall" command, but "ipa-server-install --uninstall" should be used instead.
Fixed upstream: master: https://fedorahosted.org/freeipa/changeset/92331c0074465b5c105973086467fa17a3d6d957 ipa-3-0: https://fedorahosted.org/freeipa/changeset/22a8ab46ccb128f93557b18b9325b266829b68ad
Created attachment 689847 [details] Instructions to uninstall message is fixed
verified using ipa-server-3.0.0-22.el6.x86_64
