Last modified: 2012-09-26 05:05:53 EDT
Description of problem:
Used IBus Preferences by clicking "Preferences..." from the Input Method Selector. Tried to add pinyin by going to the "Input Method" tab, "Select an input method" > "Show all input methods", then "Select an input method" > "Chinese" > "Intelligent Pinyin". The crash happened after I pressed the "+ Add" button.
Version-Release number of selected component:
libreport version: 2.0.13
cmdline: /usr/bin/python /usr/share/ibus/setup/main.py

Thanks. Actually you used the ibus from the updates-testing repository.
I also noticed that regression in https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=854161#c6 .
I will remove that version in f17 soon.
You could remove ibus and install the previous version.
# rpm -e --nodeps ibus ibus-libs ibus-gtk2 ibus-gtk3 ibus-devel ibus-gnome3
# yum install ibus
