Description of problem: On F17 (KDE spin), I can just point (and click), but when I move the pen over the tablet (without touching it) nothing happens. In theory, the mouse pointer would move where the tip of the pen is. On F16 my g-pen tablet worked out of the box, so I think something should be reviewed by developers. However, I noticed the same issue on a LiveCD of OpenSUSE 12.2 and of Chakra, so I believe this is not just a bug just on Fedora. It might be a bug on KDE or maybe the Linux kernel. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): not applicable How reproducible: Plug in your tablet and move the pen. You will notice the pointer will not move. However, the pointer will move properly when you click one of the buttons of the pen or when you land the pen on the tablet to complete a click. Actual results: The mouse pointer only moves when you click with the pen. Expected results: The mouse pointer should move as you move the pen over the tablet, and not just when you click with it. Additional info: The device worked perfectly on F16, so I consider it a regression.
please record the device description and a few events with evemu? thanks also attach your Xorg.log, that should tell us if it gets added

The tablet is a Genius G-Pen 350. Linux recognizes it as a Waltop International Corp. Slim Tablet 5.8" Hope this helps.
device shows up in log, so the configuration seems correct. I'd need the evemu files now to debug this further. see http://people.freedesktop.org/~whot/evemu/ for more information
