I receive these errors occasionally from munin-cron: [ERROR] Ran out of children: No child processes at /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.8/Munin/Master/HTMLOld.pm line 795 I'm not sure why I get them sometimes and not all the time, but I found a couple of relevant bug reports (and patches): https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/munin/+bug/1009357 http://munin-monitoring.org/ticket/1213 I'm currently getting them from munin-2.0.6-2.el5, but I've seen them with previous versions as well.
I'm still getting these errors with munin-2.0.7-1.el5 The patches in the bugs linked above seem to fix it for me, any chance we could get it patched in the next release? I can provide a patch for the latest RPM if that would help.
I will create a test build (munin-2.0.7-3) with the patch mentioned in the upstream ticket. I was under the impression this was fixed already. Patches always welcome of course!
