The cursor keeps blinking, but Ctrl-Alt-Delete doesn't work and the system will not respond. I have to restart by flippin' the power switch. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Boot System 2. 3. Actual Results: Boom (System freeze, must restart) Expected Results: Linux to boot. (Greedy, I know) Additional info: I boot from a boot disk as opposed to GRUB or LILO. However, when I have tried booting from those it did the same thing. In my current install I didn't install a bootloader.
what kind of system is this ?
i386 compatible... or more specifically a Gateway with a AMD Athlon processor, 160 MB RAM, and two IDE Hard Drives. I have Linux installed on the second hard drive.
Thanks for the bug report. However, Red Hat no longer maintains this version of the product. Please upgrade to the latest version and open a new bug if the problem persists. The Fedora Legacy project (http://fedoralegacy.org/) maintains some older releases, and if you believe this bug is interesting to them, please report the problem in the bug tracker at: http://bugzilla.fedora.us/
