Description Jeremy Huddleston 2012-10-12 02:40:05 EDT
Description of problem:

xorg-server requires xtrans.m4 to autoreconf and <X11/Xtrans/...> to build. Installing xorg-x11-server-devel brings in these packages, but not xorg-x11-xtrans-devel

 Package Arch Version Repository Size
 xorg-x11-server-devel x86_64 1.12.3-2.fc17 updates 297 k

Transaction Summary
Install 1 Package (+17 Dependent packages)
Comment 1 Jeremy Huddleston 2012-10-12 02:50:58 EDT
It should also bring in mesa-libGL-devel
Comment 2 Jeremy Huddleston 2012-10-12 02:54:34 EDT
Nevermind. I'm using the wrong dependency paradigm in my head here.

We don't need the mesa or xtrans headers specifically for providing drivers for the server (which is what the xorg-x11-server-devel package is for).
