Description of problem: If a user updates from the 5.0.0 tooling to the 5.0.1 (http://www.qa.jboss.com/binaries/RHDS/updates/development/5.0.1.Beta1.soa-tooling/) tooling, the update process returns this status of the tooling plugins: > Your original request has been modified. > "BPEL Editor" is already installed, so an update will be performed instead. > "JBoss Drools Core" is already installed, so an update will be performed instead. > "JBoss Drools Task" is already installed, so an update will be performed instead. > "JBoss ESB Tools" will be ignored because it is already installed. > "JBoss Runtime Drools Detector" will be ignored because it is already installed. > "JBoss Runtime ESB Detector" will be ignored because it is already installed. > "JBoss Runtime jBPM Detector" will be ignored because it is already installed. > "jBPM 3 Tools Runtime" will be ignored because it is already installed. > "jBPM Convert" will be ignored because it is already installed. > "ModeShape JCR REST Tools for Eclipse" will be ignored because it is already installed. > "ModeShape Tools JCR CND Editor for Eclipse" will be ignored because it is already installed. > "Teiid DataTools Connectivity" will be ignored because it is already installed. > "Teiid Designer" will be ignored because it is already installed. > "Teiid Designer Runtime" will be ignored because it is already installed. Max Rydahl Andersen <max.andersen> made a comment on jira JBDS-2363 The behaviour is as expected when you are *installing* software it will say that we are not going to actually install new things, we are just updating thus the request is modified. rejecting this since the request seems bogus. reopen with more details if there is something I'm missing.
