Description Hedda Peters 2012-10-19 06:08:35 UTC
Test run for i18n-L10n Cloud Engine Test Plan for CloudForms v1.1 on build Beta 5 Snapshot

Description of problem:

Many strings show words capitalized where they shouldn't be, others are missing the capitalization. When checking these strings in my translation files in Zanata, they are correct. When highlighting one of those wrong strings on the UI and copying it into e.g. gedit, the wrong capitalization disappears and it is displayed as expected! Something changes my correct translation to a wrong display in the UI.

Examples:

L10N: Administer - Users and Permissions
"Benutzer Bearbeiten" should be "Benutzer bearbeiten", "Zugriff Gewähren" should be "Zugriff gewähren".

L10N: Administer - Content
"Neuen Katalog Hinzufügen" (add new catalogue) should be "Neuen Katalog hinzufügen". Same with "Katalog Bearbeiten" (editing catalogue), "Neue Applikationsvorlage Hinzufügen" (add new application blueprint), "Neue Zuordnung Für Cloud-Ressourcen-Cluster Erstellen" (create new mapping for cloud resource cluster).
All with wrong capitalization even though correct translation ressource.

Opposite Example:

L10N: Administer - Cloud Resource Providers
Under Accounts and creating a new account, for several translation the second part of each of these should be capitalized:
"Cloud-typ" should be "Cloud-Typ", "Account-name" should be "Account-Name", "Geheimer zugangsschlüssel" should be "Geheimer Zugangsschlüssel"
Checking the translations on Zanata, they all seem correct for aforementioned string.
In this case they are capitalized on Zanata, but they appear lowercase in the UI.

Expected results:
Translated strings to be displayed unchanged from Zanata
