Comment 1 Tobias Florek 2012-10-21 10:51:52 UTC
one additional note:

> setxkbmap -layout us -option caps:esc
> setxkbmap -print

xkb_keymap {
	xkb_keycodes  { include "evdev+aliases(qwerty)"	};
	xkb_types     { include "complete"	};
	xkb_compat    { include "complete"	};
	xkb_symbols   { include "pc+us+inet(evdev)"	};
	xkb_geometry  { include "pc(pc104)"	};
};

i have no idea, whether that's ok or not...

Comment 2 Tobias Florek 2013-03-22 10:22:16 UTC
well. it works now. i don't know when it started to work again (i don't use the caps-lock key). so closing as current release
