Weparo, what's the printer model you tried to configure ?
Weparo, could you copy this file [1] to /usr/share/hplip/base/ and try to reproduce the problem ? https://bugs.launchpad.net/hplip/+bug/1048754/+attachment/3418426/+files/wifi.py
sure, sorry for the late answer. Printer model is a C4380. Ok, i just tried your wifi.py file, that didn't work.
Upstream suggests to 'Restart the system.' so could you try it once more after reboot ?
Again, sorry for me taking so much time, I did restart the system as you proposed, still no change, but i didnt bother rerunning abrt. I also get a crash report for the hplip package. Weparo
