Description of problem: I installed pulseaudio-module-zeroconf (in fact, pulseaudio-module-*) on a fresh Fedora 18 install, and I can't get it set up as a server for streaming music. I installed and launched paprefs, but all the fields are grayed out. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 2.1-4.fc18 paprefs is 0.9.10-2.fc18 How reproducible: always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install Fedora 18 Beta TC6 (or the latest beta) 2. yum install paprefs pulseaudio-module-* 3. Reboot and open paprefs, go to the tabs whose labels start with Network (first two tabs) Actual results: All the settings are grayed out. Expected results: The zeroconf-related settings should not be grayed out, and checking them should make my server discoverable by other pulseaudio systems that have zeroconf discovery enabled. Additional info: On a different machine, I upgraded from Fedora 17 to Fedora 18, and ran paprefs. The network-related preferences were also grayed out, but some checkboxes were checked, matching my old configuration. It isn't working as a sound server anymore, but it does still discover other servers via zeroconf. I used gconf-editor and messed with the settings under system/pulseaudio/remote-access, and confirmed that the changes are reflected in paprefs. I'm guessing that pulseaudio2 stores some of its module configuration in a different place from the pulseaudio 1.19 that shipped with Fedora 17, and paprefs still uses the old place.
