Description Michael S. 2012-10-29 18:14:26 UTC
Couchdb seems toi have a bundled version of erlang-snappy, which is against our policy, and that cause file conflict :
Erreur du contrôle de transaction :
file /usr/lib64/erlang/lib/snappy-1.0.3/ebin/snappy.app from install of erlang-snappy-1.0.3-0.2.git80db168.fc18.x86_64 conflicts with file from package couchdb-1.2.0-1.fc18.x86_64

Comment 1 Michael S. 2012-10-29 18:16:12 UTC
It seems that couchdb also ship a copy of ejson, who is not in the repository for now, would you prefer a 2nd bug report for that ?

Yep. I'm aware of it - I hope to fix this before this weekend.

Yes, please. That's another and more long story since this bundled library (ejson) bundles another one library - I'm working on untangling this but no ETA yet.

I hope it'll take me ~2 weeks but unfortunately I've got a couple of other Fedora-related urgent tasks (update Riak to 1.2.1 among them), not to mention other real-life issues.
