Red Hat Satellite engineering is moving the tracking of its product development work on Satellite to Red Hat Jira (issues.redhat.com). If you're a Red Hat customer, please continue to file support cases via the Red Hat customer portal. If you're not, please head to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira and file new tickets here. Individual Bugzilla bugs will be migrated starting at the end of May. If you cannot log in to RH Jira, please consult article #7032570. That failing, please send an e-mail to the RH Jira admins at rh-issues@redhat.com to troubleshoot your issue as a user management inquiry. The email creates a ServiceNow ticket with Red Hat. Individual Bugzilla bugs that are migrated will be moved to status "CLOSED", resolution "MIGRATED", and set with "MigratedToJIRA" in "Keywords". The link to the successor Jira issue will be found under "Links", have a little "two-footprint" icon next to it, and direct you to the "Satellite project" in Red Hat Jira (issue links are of type "https://issues.redhat.com/browse/SAT-XXXX", where "X" is a digit). This same link will be available in a blue banner at the top of the page informing you that that bug has been migrated.

Description Lukas Zapletal 2012-10-30 14:14:13 UTC
Hello,

we are currently collecting all the changes and additions which are required for the upgrade process here:

https://engineering.redhat.com/trac/kalpana/wiki/UpgradeReleaseNotes10-11

After explicit verification from the QA side, please incorporate this into the documentation.

Hi,

Dan told me yesterday all required doco changes for this BZ were merged to the documentation. We had to do additional change, here is the diff:

https://fedorahosted.org/katello/wiki/Upgrade?action=diff&version=17&old_version=16

Comment 7 Og Maciel 2012-11-07 15:39:51 UTC
Confirmed that this does fix the issue I was seeing! Leaving postgresql alone did the trick!

Comment 9 Lukas Zapletal 2012-11-08 08:21:47 UTC
Dan, thank you for your patience. This is it, I think we are done with the upgrade doco.

Comment 10 Lukas Zapletal 2012-11-08 13:12:44 UTC
One additional thing - we need to put this note somewhere in the Upgrade Release Notes. This is specific to the SE 1.1:

Note: During Cloud Forms System Engine 1.1 upgrade process, there can be several warning messages in the /var/log/katello/production.log file "Unable to decrypt password". Please ignore them.

Have CC'd Julie Wu, who will include this in the Release Notes for 1.1.
