I retried and now it doesn't crash. Seems to be related to currently chosen mirror (as returned by MirrorManager) or something. Definitely not easily reproducible.

Discussed at 2012-10-31 blocker review meeting: http://meetbot.fedoraproject.org/fedora-qa/2012-10-31/f18beta-blocker-review-6.2012-10-31-16.00.log.txt . Rejected as blocker as it doesn't seem reproducible (I've actually done this test a few times for a different bug, and didn't hit this ever).

If this turns out to be more serious than it seems - i.e. hittable more often than 'very rarely' - please re-propose.
