wine-1.5.16-1 was a bad release for Spotify. It made changes to my .wine directory that prevented me from running the Spotify Installer after upgrading to wine-1.5.17-1. With wine-1-5-17-1 I had to completely wipe my .wine directory and re-install Spotify. Now it works. Luckily I only use wine for Spotify. Is there a way to keep most of your .wine directory and roll back bad config changes due to buggy releases?
Not really aside from making backups yourself.
