Steps to Reproduce: 0. Preexisting Solaris (MSDOS Disklabel + Solaris Partition + VTOC) 1. Enter Storage: Installation Destination and select the disk, do MANUAL PARTITIONING 2. Select and expand the 'Unknown' tree, the partittion will be already selected, expand the 'customize' tree 3. Check 'reformat' and apply 4. Expand the 'New Fedora 18...' tree and the 'Unknown' parition will be already selected 5. Expand the 'customize' tree (it is already expanded) 6. Change 'file system' from 'unknown' to 'ext4' and 'mount point' to / and then 'Finish Partitioning' 7. Anaconda returns to the MAIN HUB (but i just defined a /), 'begin installation' is UNLOCKED 8. Enter Storage: Installation Destination and select the disk, do MANUAL PARTITIONING (AGAIN) 9. Change de selected partition back to 'unknown' and 'finish partitioning' 10. Anaconda returns to the MAIN HUB, but "error checking storage configuration" (ok, since what i set in manual partitioning makes no sense) 11. Enter Storage: Installation Destination and select the disk, do MANUAL PARTITIONING (AGAIN) 12. You will find the 'double-unknown' shown in the sceenshot 13. Change the 'filesystem type' to EXT4 and 'mount point' to / and 'finish partitioning' 14. kaboom

Ok, another setup that triggers it: 0. boot a preexisting guest with two disks (a ntfs boot, and a dynamic disks) 1. Enter Storage: Installation Destination, and do MANUAL PARTITIONING (selecting just the disks with the dynamic disks) 2. Expand the 'unknown' tree and the 'customize' tree 3. Check 'reformat' and 'apply changes' and 'finish partitioning' 4. Anaconda returns to the MAIN HUB with "error checking storage configuration" (ok, since what i did in MANUAL PARTITIONING makes no sense. 5. Enter Storage: Installation Destination, and do MANUAL PARTITIONING (selecting just the disks with the dynamic disks), AGAIN 6. Change 'file system' to ext4 and 'mount point' to / then 'finish partitioning' 7. kaboom
