Red Hat Bugzilla – Bug 87482
kcontrol - Information - Samba Status displays NFS shares
Last modified: 2007-04-18 12:52:29 EDT
fresh install of RHL 9, kdebase-3.1-12
If I go into Control Center, then Information, then Samba Status, I'm given a
tabbed interface where I can see info about shares. If I select Imports, it
shows current NFS mounts on my system.
This makes no sense. A tool named "Samba Status" should not display NFS
information. This tool should be renamed (Network Filesystem Status, perhaps,
though something shorter would be better).
This might well be a bug upstream....
