This crash only happens on this very hp system, I tried other amd platforms, works fine with rhel 5.9 snapshot 5 This hasn't been updated since the initial bug report in November - still an issue or can we close it? Created attachment 641286 [details] sosreport on this hp host Description of problem: Tried to install rhel 5.9 on HP ProLiant DL375 G7, crash happened when anaconda started. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: 100% Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Actual results: Expected results: Additional info: 1. RHEL 5.8 release one does hit this crash, too. 2. RHEL 6 can be installed successfully on this HP ProLiant DL375 G7 system. I attached this sosreport based on rhel6 on this host.
