For the record, my laptop date/time is correct, since this was an issue before with google account.
Yes, I saw this happen with my personal account too this morning. Deleting and recreating the account "solved" the problem. Will investigate further if it happens again. Could have been a passing problem at Google's end.
Hi, yes, I managed to solve it by removing and re-adding the account. Thanks!
I can confirm the problem on F18. Time is set correctly. log in again doesn't solve it. In my case also deleting and recreating the account doesn't solve the problem. Also deleting the token in the keyring doesn't solve it. But it works fine on F17 so probably a goa bug! Name : gnome-online-accounts Arch : x86_64 Version : 3.6.1 Release : 2.20121107git.fc18
Can you verify that this is not https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=688364 ?
I observed this as well; and it's not related to 2-factor authentication. Things appear to be working after removing and replacing the account.

Has any progress been made on this? I am still seeing this bug, and F18 is due to be released in five days.
I was getting similar errors and to get my online accounts to work, I had to delete *both* the gmail account set up on Gnome "Online Accounts" *and* the same account set up in Empathy "Messaging and Voip Accounts" (Accessible by running 'empathy-accounts' or click on the edit account when the login error comes up when switching availability). After that I only added my Google account to the Gnome Online Accounts and enabled the On/Off switch for the Chat portion for it to show up in the empathy accounts again. I am certain that I added my gmail account directly to Empathy long ago ... likely before Online Accounts existed ... so I assumed that they were stomping on each other somehow.
I have installed gnome-keyring-3.6.2-3 from updates-testing and this is still broken.
Hi Have you tried removing and re-adding the account? It worked for some of us. Thanks,

I'm still seeing this bug, but only in the google apps account. My normal google account works. BTW, this worked in F17
I'm seeing this sine upgrading to F20
Actually, blame it on non-atomic upgrades.
This message is a reminder that Fedora 18 is nearing its end of life. Approximately 4 (four) weeks from now Fedora will stop maintaining and issuing updates for Fedora 18. It is Fedora's policy to close all bug reports from releases that are no longer maintained. At that time this bug will be closed as WONTFIX if it remains open with a Fedora 'version' of '18'. Package Maintainer: If you wish for this bug to remain open because you plan to fix it in a currently maintained version, simply change the 'version' to a later Fedora version prior to Fedora 18's end of life. Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry that we may not be able to fix it before Fedora 18 is end of life. If you would still like to see this bug fixed and are able to reproduce it against a later version of Fedora, you are encouraged change the 'version' to a later Fedora version prior to Fedora 18's end of life. Although we aim to fix as many bugs as possible during every release's lifetime, sometimes those efforts are overtaken by events. Often a more recent Fedora release includes newer upstream software that fixes bugs or makes them obsolete.
This is showing up for me in the transition from Fedora 19 to 20 as well. However, my workaround in Comment 9 no longer works. When GOA tries to recreate the chat access, it just fails in Empathy now too. Please change affected version to 19/20.

Fedora 20 changed to end-of-life (EOL) status on 2015-06-23. Fedora 20 is no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any further security or bug fix updates. As a result we are closing this bug. If you can reproduce this bug against a currently maintained version of Fedora please feel free to reopen this bug against that version. If you are unable to reopen this bug, please file a new report against the current release. If you experience problems, please add a comment to this bug. Thank you for reporting this bug and we are sorry it could not be fixed.
Same problem as op on F22. Removing and readding accounts worked for awhile but now that doesn't even fix it.
