Description of problem: With the modular TeXLive packaging having landed in F18, docbook-utils-pdf does not work out of the box due to it not pulling in some of the texlive collections that are now packaged separately Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): docbook-utils-0.6.14-32.fc18.noarch docbook-utils-pdf-0.6.14-32.fc18.noarch (The missing dependencies:) texlive-collection-fontsrecommended-0.svn26699-3.20121019_r28030.fc18.noarch texlive-collection-htmlxml-0.svn13822-3.20121019_r28030.fc18.noarch How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. fedpkg clone nickle 2. Comment-out the F18+ extra build requires and try rebuilding Actual results: Rebuilding fails without tl-collection-{fontsrecommended,htmlxml} Expected results: These should not have to be added as additional BRs -- docbook-utils-pdf should depend on them Additional info:
Requires added in Rawhide - do you need them in F18 as well?
(just asking if the docbook-utils update there is necessary or you have already workarounded the issue with adding BR into nickle)
(In reply to comment #1) > Requires added in Rawhide - do you need them in F18 as well? I've already committed the workaround BRs, so it can wait for the next update -- however, I'm facing this bizarre problem where nickle's documentation builds fine on Koji for Rawhide, and on mock for F18 and Rawhide, but not on Koji F18. Any idea? http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/packageinfo?packageID=2641
(In reply to comment #1) > Requires added in Rawhide - do you need them in F18 as well? Yes please. Otherwise any packages either on F18/rawhide requiring docbook-utils-pdf need to add the workaround requirements. (I keep rawhide/f18 texlive in sync now so the requierements are the same)
