Description Julien Olivier 2003-03-31 20:04:35 UTC
From Bugzilla Helper:
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.3) Gecko/20030313

Description of problem:
In addition to (or instead of) the current system, Redhat should use apt-for-rpm
to make it easier for people to install additional software such as video
players, mozilla plugins etc...

Some sources like freshrpms.net could even be configured by default.

Thanks.

PS: I know that's not the best place to make such a suggestion but I can't
figure out which "package" this wish is related to.

apt4rpm has a number of places where it does questionable things with RPM and
doesn't fit in well with the rest of our system.
