Cluster name validation

If the cluster name is greater than 40 characters, on clicking 'Ok' the field will be highlighted and on mouse over "Field content must not exceed {0} characters." message will be shown.

I have attached the screen shot of the same.

Matt, please let me know if the current behavior is fine.

Comment 4 Matt Mahoney 2013-03-28 14:42:11 UTC
It would be more user friendly if a message would be displayed without the need to mouse-over. Red highlight around the box plus a message is the desirable behaviour.

Comment 5 Sahina Bose 2015-09-09 11:37:07 UTC
As per comment 2, the functionality is present though not in the requested manner.

Closing this as we will not be addressing this in the present UI. Please re-open if you consider this a high priority fix.
