Description Satyabrata Maitra 2012-11-20 10:19:20 UTC
Created attachment 648372 [details]
seems a junk character. Please confirm, and if so, pls fix.

Description of problem:
There are few untranslated strings in SAM Web GUI found. Please translate and commit these stings. Any other strings beyond those are mentioned, if found by LM, please consider those as well for translation.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
katello-headpin-all-1.2.5-1h.el6_3
Subscription Asset Manager Version: 1.2.5-1h.el6_3

How reproducible:
Always.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Login in SAM Web GUI page.
2. Switch the preferred locale to es (Spanish)
3. Check the translations completeness.
4. Translate the untranslated strings.

Some strings found as described below :
1.
  a. In the Administrator, mouse over and see a drop-down menu
  b. Click on About.
  c. Look at the about page, there are few untranslated strings found like
     "New", "System" etc.
2.
  a. In the Home page of SAM Web GUI, Click on "es_ES" Link, above.
  b. Look at the string "Viewing x of x results" string, just below the "User"
level. It seems this string is not translated. Not sure although.

3. (It looks like a junk character)
  a. Click into Contents Tab in the home page
  b. On the next page appearing, mouse over the Subscription link
  c. Click on Activation Key from the drop-down menu
  d. Either create a new key or select any existing key from the left pane.
  e. Now, on the right pane, Click on "Remove Activation Key" link above.
  f. Observe the confirmation box appears as shown in the screen shot attached
     here with this bug.
  g. It looks like the content of this box contains a junk character. Although
I am not sure about that, because I am not a native user of Spanish.

4. Any other untranslated strings beyond these findings mentioned above.

Actual results:
There are few strings in the whole SAM Web GUi for es_ES is untranslated.

Expected results:
All the strings should be properly translated.

Comment 1 Tom McKay 2012-11-20 13:24:32 UTC
Isn't this standard Spanish?

Comment 2 Satyabrata Maitra 2012-11-21 07:09:18 UTC
Hi Tom

I am neither a native user of Spanish, nor can read standard Spanish. In case all the strings mentioned above are properly translated, and the completeness is 100% for all the pages, tabs, links, buttons, levels, tooltip, window, list, etc, and confirmed, you can close this bug. For me, it seemed those might not be translated, and in english. May be some words spoken in English is the same in Spanish as well. :) I put it up to you, in case you are a native Spanish speaker and understands this locale. :)
