Description of problem: This crash is _NOT_ easy to reproduce. 1. I had "rdesktop -r sound:local VIRTUAL_MACHINE" playing audio through the alsa API 2. rdesktop is connect to a Windows XP SP3 VM with sound redirection enabled. 3. WIndows Media Player 9 is running in the Windows VM playing an audio book. I head to leave it running for hours before this triggers. From the backtrace, I see that the assertion: 455 pa_assert(PA_REFCNT_VALUE(b) > 0); from pulsecore/memblock.c:455 (pa_memblock_acquire() in /lib64/libpulsecommon-1.1.so) triggerd.
