Description of problem: Allow the creation of ad hoc Report according to Samples & Hourly Views -- currently, only view available is "Daily" (Ad Hoc Components->Domains->Statistics Domains) Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 3.1, si24.4 How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Install rhevm+dwh+reports 2.Create some entities and let the setup run for couple of days 3.Create Ad Hoc Report Actual results: Allow the creation of ad hoc Report according to Daily Views Expected results: Allow the creation of ad hoc Report according to Samples & Hourly Views Additional info: This will allow a small fast loaded report (Based on Minutes or Hours) in the range of a day of small number of days - not to overload the system e.x 1. Report that display CPU & MEM history in minutes (Resolution) over a period of 2H Table, Graph etc... 2. Report that display NIC Tx/Rx history in Hours (Resolution) over a period of 48H (2Days) Table, Graph etc...
We don't support minute level and hour level ad hoc reporting due the data set sizes that can cause issues with the editor. For minute level reporting user need to use the sql views interface.
and if we limit the period of time for a user to use when creating such report ?
