Description of problem: Currently the lvm2app library can create physical volumes but the metadata area is fixed. Having the option to have two or no areas and to adjust the size would be useful. Data alignment would be nice too. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): lvs --version LVM version: 2.02.98(2) (2012-10-15) Library version: 1.02.77 (2012-10-15) Driver version: 4.23.0 Thank you.
Patch committed upstream adds this functionality: http://www.redhat.com/archives/lvm-devel/2013-November/msg00087.html Will be in next release (2.02.105)
