Actual results: Machine's locked hard. Stack trace printed to console. Expected results: I don't know. Never got devlabel working. Additional info: SMP machine.
Please post said stack trace.
Created attachment 90918 [details] Stack trace Attached is the stack trace. (Is there any easier way to get the trace beyond connecting a serial console and redirecting kern.* to /dev/ttyS0?)
thanks for the trace. question: do you have a usb-storage device in use? If so, I've fixed a bug in that last week which mostly matches with your backtrace
never mind; from looking at the USB serial code it looks like it has the same bug ;(
Yes, it's a usb-serial bug. I'll look into fixing this. However, devlabel isn't for usb-serial devices, it will not work with them. devlabel is only for usb-storage devices.
Thanks for the bug report. However, Red Hat no longer maintains this version of the product. Please upgrade to the latest version and open a new bug if the problem persists. The Fedora Legacy project (http://fedoralegacy.org/) maintains some older releases, and if you believe this bug is interesting to them, please report the problem in the bug tracker at: http://bugzilla.fedora.us/
